This series of sculptures evokes microscopic worlds reimagined into strange, emerging entities. Drawing from my work as a medical scientist, these works transform glimpses of viruses, bacteria, and cellular structures into speculative, bodily forms. Swelling masses, coiling appendages, and bulbous protrusions suggest creatures in flux — mutating, budding, or spilling outward into new life. Rather than illustrating specific organisms, the works embrace abstraction to capture the mystery and vitality of unseen worlds. They invite viewers to consider mutation and transformation as generative forces, revealing the beauty and complexity of life beyond the limits of human perception.
